Bugahya Twemukye(Babylon) Group's story

47-year old Everline is a trusted member of Bugahya Twemukye Group living in Kagadi-Uganda. She is working as the Treasurer of the group.

She is a married woman blessed with 5 children of whom four are students. She also takes care of one extra person.

She is a very hard-working woman and is involved in several economic activities. She farms and she also has been buying and reselling seasonal crops like maize, beans, and groundnuts for over 20 years.

She is an innovative woman who was trained to offer human drugs for first aid like panadol, Septrine, Hedex, etc. This gave her the chance to start a small drug shop where she earns an income that supplements her day-to-day income.

Of all these enterprises, buying and reselling agricultural products makes for her good money which she uses to pay the school fees for her children,

However, she lacks enough capital to invest in her business and increase her profits. Hence, she is resorting to borrowing. Everline is requesting for a loan to buy more maize and beans to sell so she can generate school fees for her children.
