Lu'isa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more pandanus for her weaving business and also pay for more workers for her kava plantation.

Lu'isa's story

Lu'isa is 56 years old. She is a mother of eight and a wife to a farmer. Her businesses include kava and weaving. For the kava business, her husband grows and harvests the kava, and Lu'isa does the selling. As for her weaving business, she does it on her own back at home. These are the main sources of income for her family.

When her weaving products are finished, she then sends them overseas. They also send some kava overseas, but it is not much due to border policy. Her business is running successfully. However, there are quite some challenges that they usually face with their businesses. These challenges include lack of funds to pay for more laborers. She is hoping to solve this problem with her loan money.

Her vision for the future is to produce more products and hire more workers to help with their businesses.
