Chiyamiko Group's story

Annie was born on the Copperbelt 48 years ago. She lives in Lusaka with her husband who is a mechanic and her four children. She likes doing Church activities and reading the bible. All her four children are in school and she hopes to grow her business and build a better future for her family.

She has been selling potatoes and rice on the street for 20 years and the money she gets from her business is what she uses to support her family. Although she enjoys her business because it is profitable, there are times when business is rough and they end up eating the food meant for the business

She decided to buy a clean cook stove and a monthly subscription of sustainable pellets so she can save time and money and stop using charcoal, which is expensive, and bad for her family's health and the environment.
