Ann's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farm inputs such as certified seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers to improve her production and generate more income to elevate her family's quality of life.

Ann's story

Ann (a 35-year-old mom pictured in her simple house) is a farmer from the Kitale area, one of the most photographed places in Kenya. She is responsible for all the operations on her farm, which she does perfectly.

On her farm, she raises dairy cows and grows crops and carries out daily household chores such as cooking, collecting water, and caring for children. She has been doing agriculture for 10 years now. She makes money selling produce from her farm, including milk and crops. She enjoys ploughing her farm and watering her plants. Crop diseases pose a big challenge for her as they lead to poor productivity.

Ann is seeking a loan to buy good-quality seeds and fertilizer, which will help increase soil fertility and productivity on her farm.

Through training from Juhudi Kilimo, she has learned about the culture of saving, and she plans to use the increased income to improve her farming. Increased productivity will allow her to improve her quality of life and her living standard.

This loan will go a long way to changing the lives of Ann and her family members. Lend to a mother to keep her progressing.
