Rafael Antonio's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more wood, varnish, nails, and sandpaper so that he can fulfill his orders, as well as to buy materials to build his own shop.

Rafael Antonio's story

Rafael wakes up very early to get things organized at his furniture workshop. He enjoys carpentry and started working in this trade at the age of 15 as an assistant. After some time passed, he eventually decided to start his own business. He purchased used equipment and rented a shop where he could set up his business. In his community, Rafael is well-known for his furniture because his products are of very good quality and have the most unique designs in the region. He has the help of his employees, which allows him to produce in large quantities so that his customers do not have to wait long for his products.

Rafael has chosen to apply for a Kiva loan through MiCrédito because he plans to buy more wood, varnish, nails, and sandpaper so that he can have supplies to fulfill his orders. In addition, he will acquire materials to build his own shop. In the near future, he hopes to have a larger shop where he can produce more furniture and create more jobs.
