Jhordana's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to build a warehouse for agricultural output.
Jhordana works in agriculture, growing coca plants. She has a lot of experience, as she started working as a teenager helping her parents. Now she has inherited land from them and, for the past 2 years, has grown and cultivated the plants.
She works Mondays through Saturdays, from 8 am to 6 pm. She sells the leaves in the town of Coroico, where there is a high demand. The leaves have medicinal properties and a high nutritional value: they contain alkaloids, proteins, vitamins, minerals and are rich in antioxidants.
This is her first loan, for which she is applying through Fundación Sartawi. It will be used to build a warehouse for storage of the agricultural output.
