A loan helped to buy stock of rice, oil, drinks, soaps, etc. for sale.

Janet's story

Janet is 24 years old. She is married, and she lives in Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana. She is a mother of two beautiful children who are currently in school.

Janet makes a living from her shop selling rice, oil, drinks, and soaps, among other groceries. Her customers, who are made up largely of students and other individuals, come to her shop to buy. She is very hardworking and a self-driven young woman.

The main challenge that this enterprising young woman has often complained of is the high cost of transportation. This is due to insufficient capital, which leads to her always buying in bits. She has requested this loan so that she can buy stock of rice, oil, drinks, and soaps in large quantities to sell.

With the increase in stock, Janet will be assured of good proceeds, which she plans to use to reinvest into the business.
