Resty's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy feed and vitamins for his pigs.

Resty's story

Resty is residing with his family in Lupao, Nueva Ecija. He is 47 years old, happily married to Resie, and they are blessed with three children.

To make a living, he manages a piggery business for almost 15 years, selling pigs for butchering or for an occasion, since most filipino specialties contain pork as the main ingredient. Resty works hard to provide his family's daily needs and to support his children in school. He has a good client record with Alalay sa Kaunlaran, Inc. (ASKI) for about 13 years.

He is requesting a loan of PHP 30,000 under ASKI's agricultural loan program to be used to buy feed and vitamins for his pigs. Resty's dream is to expand their piggery business. He hopes and prays that with the help of ASKI and KIVA lenders he can uplift their lives way out of poverty.
