Tome's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, noodles, sugar, salt, canned foods, and soft drinks for her general store.

Tome's story

Tome is 42 years old and married with one child. She lives in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

She owns and operates a small general store selling food items such as rice, noodles, biscuits, and canned foods in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for five years.

Tome has requested a loan to pay for additional rice, noodles, sugar, salt, canned foods, and soft drinks to increase her supplies and assist her in maintaining her business.

She plans to use her profits to provide financial support for her family and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2019 to gain access to financial services for her business, and this is her first loan.
