Serah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy flour, cooking oil, drinking cooler and food containers for her business.

Serah's story

Serah is a 44-year-old woman, married with five children and they live in a community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a small business selling fish and chips, banana cakes and cooked cassava at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for four years.

Serah has requested a loan to pay for additional flour, cooking oil, drinking cooler and food containers to assist her in running her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's expenses and help pay for her children's education fees.

She joined SPBD in 2019 to gain access to financial services for her business and this is her first loan.
