Dyandra's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped me invest in prototyping for two vegan footwear designs, ethical packaging and a sustainable e-commerce site!

Dyandra's story

I grew up in the city of Philadelphia, PA in a suburban like neighborhood as the only child of Jo-Anne Edwards and Raymond Brown. Through my solo lifestyle I learned how to entertain myself by sketching shoe designs religiously, creating businesses from scratch on my Dad's spare dry cleaning card boards and hosting panel discussions that I held with myself outdoors, in which I played all the characters. This impacted my business as a solo entrepreneur, equipping me with follow through skills, public speaking strengths and one balanced business and creative mind. Today I manage both a full time job as an assistant director for a cashmere company and founder of a sustainable online fashion, lifestyle and travel platform. In addition to these two roles I use every extra minute to continue growing Jo-Anne Vernay. Naturally I'm able to juggle all three as I've been doing this as a kid for fictional business that are now a happy reality. My dreams for the future include growing Jo-Anne Vernay into a household name of guilt free footwear for conscious consumers and creating a lifestyle movement around eco friendly living. After a lifetime of animal loving, no red meat eating and now vegan advocating, this message is more than style - it's a lifestyle! I hope to convey this the best way I know how, through fashion, while inspiring young entrepreneurs to take control of their passions and start creating the life they dream of - now!
