A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her headcount of cattle and sales of organic milk.

Saken's story

Saken is 56 and married with grown children. She has a high school education and is a hardworking, purposeful and entrepreneurial person. She has been working in animal husbandry since 1999 as the primary source of income for her family. She has a good understanding of the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to invest assets as intended. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to her tasks, she has been able to develop her farm to having eight cows and five sheep.

With the goal of further developing her farm, Saken has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 KGS to buy dairy cows to increase her sales of organic milk and her income from keeping livestock. She plans to put income from the loan into further developing her farm and is planning to buy a car.
