Bobojane Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy the ACE 1 cookstove.

Bobojane Group's story

Molefi is a 60-year-old man who lives with his wife and two children in a one-bedroom house without access to electricity. He works as a skate sailor but struggles with stove repayments since he spends most energy expenses on mobile phone charging, gas and paraffin which cost up to LSL520 per month. He also spends as much as three hours per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone-charging.

It has long been Molefi's dream to build his family a big house, but it is not happening because of expensive fuel consumption and the phone-charging costs. Molefi saw the Ace 1 at a community gathering and began to think of it as a money-saver and therefore decided to buy the stove to save a little as he has for the house of his dreams.

Molefi is a happy soul today, his dreams coming true as he now has the Ace 1 cook stove. He and the other members of the group in his village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
