Sekabatho Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy an ACE 1 cookstove.

Sekabatho Group's story

Mamahlomola is a 41-year-old woman who lives with five other family members including four children in a multi-bedroom house without access to electricity. Mamahlomola relies on livestock commercial farming and struggles with farming and livestock. She spends most of her energy expenses on paraffin, gas, and wood, which costs up to LSL 450 per month. She also spends as much as two hours per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

She likes the product because she is going to cook without the high costs of fuels. She says now she will be able to save money since her husband is working alone in the house.

Mamahlomola and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
