Progreso Y Conciliación 5 Group's story

Guerline is a Haitian immigrant woman who came to the Dominican Republic in search of better living conditions, fleeing the difficult situation in which she lived in poverty in Haiti.

Guerline is a mother to five children who are her reason to fight each day in order to support them. Guerline lives in San Pedro de Macorís, which is a province that is known for having the greatest number of sugar refineries in the country.

For the past two years, Guerline has made a living by selling clothing, work she learned to help take care of her family. Guerline sells socks, skirts, shirts, blouses, tshirts, shorts, pants, dresses and more.

Guerline said that this business is common in San Pedro de Macorís, but despite that she still has a good client base.

Guerline needs your help to purchase goods to stock her clothing business.
