Abigail's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pesticide and fertilizer for her crops.

Abigail's story

Abigail is a 37-year-old farmer from Quezon, Nueva Ecija. She is happily married to Warlito, a farmer, and they are blessed with two children who are still pursuing their studies.

For almost two years, Abigail has been growing calamansi, a citrus fruit, to sell after harvest. She and her family deliver calamansi to their public market to sell.

Abigail has repaid previous loans from Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI), Inc. for more than two years.

Abigail is requesting a 60,000 PHP loan under the agricultural loan program of ASKI to buy pesticide and fertilizer for her crops.

Her dream is to create employment and for her family to have a better future. She hopes that, with the support of ASKI and Kiva lenders, it will come true.
