La Muyuna Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to implement her small store with new products and to offer her customers a fair price and quality service.

La Muyuna Group's story

Carmen is the president of the group "La Muyuna" comprised by 10 members and directed by her. She is 54 years old and lives with her husband and two children.
Six years ago, she started selling basic needs products. Currently, she has a small store in her living room. She sells rice, sugar, milk, sodas, noodles; all foodstuffs and beverages. With the new loan through Kiva she wants to implement her small store with new products to satisfy the financial possibilities of her customers and give them a fair price and a quality service.
Her husband works cultivating cacao which he later sells. Carmen also works in order to have more income. They always try to save some extra money for emergencies. She considers herself a charismatic, hardworking, enterprising and very helpful person to her customers. She likes to treat them well so she is treated likewise.
