Jean Hector's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand the production of 6,000 broilers and create two additional jobs.

Jean Hector's story

Jean Hector (first name) has gained experience in rural economic activities. Located in the south of Haiti, Jean Hector used to produce between 500 and 1,500 broilers on two sites every month. He managed to have a good service level agreement with his suppliers.

Jean Hector reached the downtown market by buying a refrigerated container. He also hired a butcher to kill the broilers and pack the offal, mainly for the supermarkets. In one year, he created three permanent jobs, plus four seasonal packaging jobs for women.

Now he would like to expand the production on a nearby site with a new loan. This production will multiply his job creation impact by three, respecting the sanitary hiatus each month.

Jean Hector secures the repayment of this loan with his salary. He therefore counts on the Kiva lenders to help him build hope in Haiti.
