A loan helped to buy some cattle to fatten and resell.

Gulsunay's story

Gulsunai is 49 years old, married, with four children. She has a college degree and works as a teacher in a local school. She is very familiar with agricultural technology and knows how to invest her money wisely. She has been involved in animal husbandry since 1993, and this activity constitutes her family's main source of income. Thanks to her very hard work she now has six cows and 27 sheep on her farm. She also grows clover on 0.68 hectares of irrigated land.

Eager to further grow her business, Gulsunai has turned to Bai Tushum Bank and applied for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS). She will use her money to buy some cattle in order to boost the income she makes from fattening and reselling livestock. She is planning to reinvest the earnings from her loan to further grow her farming business.
