Sulieti's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pandanus for her weaving business.

Sulieti's story

Sulieti is 50 years old. She is a mother to ten, and her husband is a security guard. They reside in their own home near the capital of Tongatapu. Her business is weaving, in which she joins a group weaving in their village. They conduct the weaving every day. They weave ta'ovala [traditional dress] of every kind and also different kinds of mats.

Sulieti mainly sells her products to family overseas for better earnings. She also advertises through the internet. Her business is running very successfully. However, the lack of pandanus is always a problem for her business. More pandanus means more products produced. More products means more money. She is hoping to use her loan money to buy pandanus so she can produce enough to meet the demand of her customers. Her vision is to build her family a new house.
