A loan helped with our promotions and paying an extra employee.

Yanett's story

My mother was a seamstress in the Dominican Republic. I helped her from a young age. In 1991 I worked in Camilo P Industrial as a quality manager where I verified that the garments were made to the quality standards required by the North American market. Later in early 2003 I received my degree in Fashion and Couture from Laie school of designs in Santiago, Dominican Republic. My family migrated to the United States in 2003, and we all had to learn how to integrate to this new culture. The one constant in our life was art, from my mother being a seamstress to me being into designs and my children loving to sketch. After years of working for other businesses we wanted to create something of our own. My goal is to continue to grow our business and create our own brand, in which we can define ourselves and make our clients happy.
