A loan helped to buy sandals and clothes.

Milady Guadalupe's story

The residents of the 24 Mayo Parish are humble people, who farm short-cycle crops (such as onions, beans, tomatoes), raise poultry, pigs, and do general trade.

Milady is 19 and is single mother of a 10-month-old son. They live in her parents' house. Milady sells clothes from several brands via catalog to move forward and contribute with the household expenses. She offers the clothes by visiting homes of family, friends and neighbors.

She also buys wholesale and sells economic sandals. She sells the sandals to local stores, bazaars, merchants, and so on. She gets paid weekly or in cash.

Milady will use this new loan to buy sandals and clothing from the catalogs. Her dream is for her son to be very healthy.
