Mira's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a few dairy cows in order to sell larger volumes of milk to a factory.

Mira's story

Mira is 30 years old, married, with four children. She has a higher education and has been involved in animal husbandry and crop farming since 2010. These two activities constitute her family's main source of income. Thanks to her very hard work and to the support of her husband, she currently has two cows, 30 sheep, and two horses on her farm. She also has 4.07 hectares of land on which she grows beans.

Mira has a contract to deliver organic milk to a local factory for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continually invest in her agricultural business. Having heard that she could take out a loan from Bai Tushum Bank on security of her contract for a future delivery (as part of the "Value chain" product), she applied for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy a few dairy cows and sell larger volumes of organic milk. Milk payments from the factory will be transferred directly to her bank account, and loan repayments will be automatically debited. Mira will use the earnings from her loan to further develop her farming business and to give her children a quality education.
