Maria Elvira's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy turkeys to raise and sell, and manure and fertilizer for their crops.

Maria Elvira's story

María is 50 years old, hardworking, and very responsible. She lives in the outskirts of Quito, in the parish of Guápulo, in the San Francisco del Valle neighborhood.

María works growing lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and broccoli, and raising chickens to earn an income and support her family. She supports her children, and wants a good education for them so that they may become professionals with better opportunities than she has had.

She needs to invest in the purchase of turkeys for the Christmas season, and also to buy fertilizer and manures to grow her crops. She asks for the help of a loan to improve the performance of her products and to obtain a better economic income.

María is very grateful for the help Kiva gives her.
