Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The group Nueva Esperanza is in its fifth cycle with the women committee program. The members are friends and neighbors who decided to work together to help their families.

Jessica's family has always made a living selling chipas (a traditional Paraguayan dish) and she has followed in their steps in order to support her family. She starts her day early every day to make chipas, which she later goes out to sell door to door. She is an enterprising person who is looking to improve herself and provide her family with a better life.

She is requesting a loan to buy ingredients to make chipas, such as starch, cheese, eggs, lard, salt, and other products.
