Nelida's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy seeds and fertilizer for her farm; the other part will be used to buy feed for her piglets.

Nelida's story

Nelida is a 58-year-old married woman. She lives in a simple dwelling in San Dionisio, Iloilo. She and her husband have six children who are now adult-aged. To earn an income, she runs a hog raising business and a food selling business. She has been in these businesses for many years. Meanwhile, Nelida and her husband also run a small family farm where they grow corn plants.

Now, she requested the amount of PHP 9,000 through Kiva’s field partner CEVI, (A Microfinance NGO) in the Philippines which she will use to buy seeds and fertilizer for her farm. The other part will be used to buy feed for her piglets.

She aspires to improve their livelihood in the future and become productive.
