María Angelina's story

Maria is a 51-year-old woman of Colombian citizenship. She is very hard-working and responsible. She has been living in the city of Quito, in the parish of Cotocollao, for 16 years.

Maria earns a living making wafers by hand. In addition, she sells perfumes, underwear, and purses to have another income to cover her needs. She has her business in her home, and she makes sales by visiting various places and organizations. In addition, she participates in the entrepreneurial fairs. She operates her business with the goal of improving her income and supporting her daughter, who lives with her.

She is requesting a loan to purchase supplies for making wafers and for the purchase of perfume and underwear merchandise. She needs to have a varied inventory for the orders they have placed with her and for commemorative dates that are approaching. Maria is very grateful for Kiva’s support of her project.
