'oketi's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more pandanus for her weaving business and also buy mullbery for her tapa-making business.

'oketi's story

'Oketi is 44 years old. Her husband is a soldier, and they have two children and one grandchild. Her eldest daughter dropped out from school and has a baby, so she is staying at home with 'Oketi and helps her with the business, while the youngest still attends high school.

'Oketi's business includes weaving and tapa making. She runs her business at her own home, with her daughter. They weave different types of mats and ta'ovala and also make different types of tapa. They sell items to families overboard and also sell them at the local market. They earn good money from their business.

However, 'Oketi has witnessed many challenges in running her business, including the lack of raw materials, which means she cannot meet customer demand. She is hoping to use her loan money to buy her as many materials as she can for weaving and tapa-making so she can provide more products and meet the needs of the customers.

Her vision is to continue running her business and continue providing for her family.
