Nasab's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to furnish her work room with cupboards, shelving, a computer and printer. It will also purchase a sewing machine and an embroidery machine.

Nasab's story

Nasab, age 26, is married with one child of eighteen months and lives in Beit Hanina in North Jerusalem. She teaches traditional embroidery to groups of eight students and also creates her own work from home which she sells over the internet. Nasab is also studying English Literature in Birzeit University.

She now seeks to borrow NIS 12,000 to furbish her work room with cupboards and shelving, a computer and printer, and to purchase a sewing machine and an embroidery machine. To date, all her work has been by hand. Nasab has received project management training from MATI, the training partner of the Jerusalem Interest-free microfinance fund. Expanding her business will help her to develop herself and to contribute to her family’s income.
