Satimbu's story

Satimbu is 62 years old, married, and has six children. Satimbu has a secondary education. She knows how to run a farming business and is able to invest funds as necessary. For many years she has been engaged in animal husbandry for her family's main source of income. Thanks to Satimbu's persistent hard work, at present her farm has 15 sheep and 0.62 hectares of irrigated land, on which she grows clover for sale. She also grows vegetables at home.

With the aim of further developing her farm, Satimbu has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 50,000 som (KGS) to purchase livestock, in order to increase her income from breeding livestock. Satimbu intends to use the funds from the loan to further develop her farm, and improve her family's material well-being.
