Abisiba's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy farm inputs and pay for hired labor in order to grow her crop farm and improve her living conditions.

Abisiba's story

Hello lenders!

Meet Abisiba, a farmer from a remote village in the Kenyenya area of Kenya. She started farming a few years ago on a small plot of land she acquired. Abisiba has dairy cows and a small garden on her farm where she grows tea.

Abisiba is seeking a 70,000 KES loan, which she will use to pay for farm inputs and hired labor in order to grow more crops. It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited resources to expand a farm business.

With your help, Abisiba will be able to settle the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of the profits will be reinvested in the business to fuel growth as Abisiba sets a good foundation for her family.

She hopes to be able to progress as a female smallholder farmer and have a more stable income.
