Boureima's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for insecticides, gasoline, and fertilizer and to save money to take care of his child.

Boureima's story

Boureima is a father of a 1-year-old child. A market gardener, he has been growing crops during the off-season for five years in an outlying district.

He paid back his initial KIVA loan without a problem and is requesting a new loan to pay for 7 cans of insecticides, 200 liters of gasoline, and 4 sacks of fertilizer in order to boost production and satisfy customer demands on time.

With the earnings from this financing, he plans to buy another field and to save money to take good care of his child. So he says thank you to YIKRI and its partners for supporting unbanked entrepreneurs. With YIKRI loans, he is managing to take good care of his child.
