A loan helped to buy peanut seeds and bags of fertilizer to cultivate peanuts.

Kl_Kheinde Bok Jom Group's story

This group of 15 members maintains strong relationships of solidarity and mutual aid. They live in the same village and seized the opportunity to join an agricultural group at its inception in June 2019. They are involved in rain-based agriculture.

Mr. Djiby (on the right of the photo with his hand raised) is the group representative. He is 31 years old. He is married and the father of 3 boys. The oldest is 12 and the youngest is 8. He has grown peanuts, millet, and corn for 9 years. He stocks up on inputs (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides) at the local daily markets and later sells his finished products in these same markets.

With this new loan, he plans to buy peanut seeds and bags of fertilizer to grow peanuts.

The profits generated from the business will allow him to handle his household expenses and develop his business.
