A loan helped to purchase bull calves to increase her income from cattle breeding.

Kaliya's story

Kaliya is 49 years old, widowed, and has 3 children. Kaliya has a secondary level education. She knows agricultural technology well and can invest purposefully.

As the main source of income for her family, she has been engaged in animal husbandry since 2000. Thanks to Kaliya’s hard work, there are 13 cows, 70 sheep, and 3 horses on her farm today. In order to further develop her farm, Kaliya turned to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS) to purchase livestock, in order to increase her income from cattle breeding.

Kaliya plans to invest the profits from the loan in further developing her farm and in improving the well-being of her family.
