Betzi Maria's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy shoes to sell.

Betzi Maria's story

The city of Portoviejo was affected by an earthquake on April 16, 2016. It is rich in its production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Betzi is 53 years old, in a common-law relationship, and has three grown children who are independent. Her husband is a dump truck driver. Betzi is able to support her family and help with the household expenses by selling shoes of various brands through catalogs. She works every day, mostly during the morning hours because it is easier to travel at that time. Betzi conducts her sales by going door-to-door and taking orders. She collects payments on a weekly basis.

This new loan will be used to buy shoes. Her dream is to see her family remain healthy and to continue her sales.
