Fisi'iahi's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more mullbery for her tapa making business.

Fisi'iahi's story

Fisi'iahi is a 37-year-old mother from the eastern side of Tongatapu. She is married to a farmer, and they are blessed with four children. Only the six of them live in their own house. All the kids attend school; the two eldest attend high school and the two youngest attend primary.

Fisi'iahi's business is tapa making, and it is the main source of income for her family. All the kids' school fees and needs plus their daily needs depend on Fisi'iahi's business. She is doing tapa making together with a group of women in their neighborhood. They only conduct the tapa making once [a week] every Friday. During the rest of the days, Fisi'iahi prepares soft tapa and sells it at the market to get extra money for the kids' needs. Her business is running actively, and she has a special bond with her business. Her vision is to continue running her business so that her family benefits from it more in the future.
