Zarina's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a dairy cow to increase her volume of milk sales to a factory.

Zarina's story

Zarina is 39 years old, married and has a daughter. She has a high school education and since 2003, the main source of income for her family has been from raising livestock and crops. Thanks to Zarina's hard work and her husband's help, she has on her farm today 3 cows and 20 sheep, as well as a 3.0 hectare plot of land on which she grows beans and perennial herbs.

Zarina has an agreement to deliver organic milk to a local plant for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. Zarina applied for 50,000 som (KGS) from Bai Tushum Bank after learning that she can receive the loan based on her contract for future deliveries as part of the product "value chain". She will purchase a dairy cow to increase her volume of milk sales. Payments for the milk from the plant will be deposited directly into her bank account and loan payments automatically deducted. The income from the loan will help Zarina in further developing her farm, make repairs to her house and save money to buy land.
