Sharia's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped us purchase new apparel products for the grand-opening of our 1st retail location focused on a community transformation initiative.
My name is Sharia Livingston. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I grew up in a single parent home including my mother and two siblings. I was a tomboy growing up and had a thing for sneakers and t-shirts. My mother couldn't afford some of the things I liked to wear, so I would find ways to make money, including raking leaves, shoveling snow, crushing cans for my grandmother, and when I was old enough, I immediately found a job. Although I am now a Registered Nurse and entrepreneur, I was once the 17 year old teen mom. I named the blessing that changed my life Sha'Miah Richardson. With her father being incarcerated after her 1st birthday and me refusing to live up to the stereotypes created by society, I was determined to create my own lane and become the person my daughter would look up to. Throughout the years of raising my daughter on my own, we faced numerous rough times, but we always found the value in every situation. It was the growth we experienced together that later gave me the idea to develop Living Rich. Coincidentally, the naming of the brand came from combining me and my daughter's last names together. Raising my daughter, working full-time, and trying to grow the business has definitely been hard but also rewarding. With what I've learned and experienced through my journey, I plan to build a team of leaders, help create wealth for others, share my story in hopes to prevent someone from making similar mistakes, and start a Streetwear empire with a mission behind the message. Quality is determined by self, so I want everyone to start Defining their Rich!
