Sovaki's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some raw materials for her weaving business.

Sovaki's story

Sovaki is a 52-year-old married woman. She's a mother of nine children and has 27 grandchildren. They live together in the house; there are 12 of them altogether living in the house.

She requested a loan from SPBD and used it to buy raw materials for her weaving business. Sovaki runs and operates her business, while her husband is a taxi driver. They are working together for their little family.

She weaves ta'ovala and mats of different kinds and sizes. Her daughters help with her weaving, instead of hiring someone to help in her business and pay for her. Sovaki only faces challenges when she lacks funds in her business, but her loan overcome her challenges. When she sell her products, she earns income and helps her family as her priority, and also makes loan repayments.

Her vision for the future of her business is to always provide for her family and maintain the benefit of her business for her family.
