Ashley's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped begin the process to ethically manufacture our children's clothing designs in the United States.
I grew up in Wisconsin and have always had a strong work ethic, thanks to my parents who taught me the importance of earning my own money early on. As I worked throughout high school, I was also encouraged to give back to the community. Most memorably, I volunteered through Big Brothers Big Sisters and reflect on those seven years of mentoring experience still today. I’ve seen the life changing benefits mentorship and guidance can have on children, and on girls in particular. Not often enough are girls encouraged to ask for what they need, or shown what could be available to them in the work space. Although this may be changing, it’s clear that more work needs to be done to encourage women in business. Ashley Rose Clothing aims to be not only a clothing company, but one that seeks to empower women by employing and educating female leaders.
