Fehmeya is the featured borrower of Fatima (Saddikin) Group that consists of two women who are cooperating to improve their living conditions.

She is a 35-year-old Syrian refugee mother of five children who is striving to maintain their basic needs. She has been running her own sewing business to help her husband in covering their big family expenses since they left their hometown escaping the war there.

Fehmeya got along with Fatima to acquire a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua in order to buy a refrigerator and a clothes washing machine for her house.

The sacrificing mother wishes to improve her sewing business to be able to improve her living situation as well.

Fatima is the lady on the right-side of the picture and Fehmeya is the lady on the left-side.
