A loan helped to buy cattle to increase her income from breeding cattle.

Zafura's story

Zafura, age 72, is a widow and has five children. Zafura has a higher education. She is well-acquainted with the technology of running an agricultural business and is capable of investing resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock since 1972 as the primary source of income for her family. Thanks to Zafura's hard work, her farm currently has four cows, 10 sheep, and two horses.

In order to develop her farm further, Zafura applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock, with the goal of increasing her income from breeding livestock. Zafura plans to invest profits from the loan in the further development of her farm by increasing the number of livestock she owns.
