Ivonne Jeanetty's story

The city of Portoviejo was affected by the April 16th, 2016 earthquake. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, beans, and tropical fruits for internal consumption.

Ivonne is 48 years old, married, and has 2 older children and one 17 year old who goes to high school. Her spouse is the owner of a taxi and drives it. The live in their own house.

Ivonne continues selling a variety of clothes for women and children, as well as varied imitation jewelry for women. She sells by credit and charges weekly. She makes the sales by making in-home visits for two or three hours each day. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, she also prepares lunch orders. Her husband helps out with the home deliveries.

With this new loan she will buy clothes and supplies to continue preparing varied lunches. Her dream is that she and her family will be very healthy.
