Eufrosia's story

Eufrosia is an artisan from Mexico who specializes in colorful ceramic masks, suns and moons. She would like to invest in a bulk purchase of molds, brushes and paint as well as new work tables for her workshop.

Eufrosia has been selling through NOVICA since 2011. This is her story:

"I was born and raised in a small village in the state of Guerrero, and I learned at a very young age how to paint on ceramic. My father taught me, and I can still remember the very first piece I painted – it was a lizard. Due to our family's financial situation I was only able to go to primary school. Painting and decorating ceramic not only represents a way to make a living, but to me it's an art form that allows me to express my feelings and capture the beauty of nature.

Selling online has helped a lot, and I can now live from my art and enjoy a better life. I paint with great pleasure and joy, and can take good care of my children and dedicate myself full time to my craft. Your support helps me to continue to grow and expand the business."
