Zimirat's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy lambs so as to increase her livestock headcount.

Zimirat's story

Zimirat is 64 years old and married with three children. She has a secondary education, is familiar with agricultural techniques, and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock since 1973, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to Zimirat's hard work, her farm presently consists of five cows, 18 sheep, three horses, and a 0.3-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows cotton.

In order to develop her business further, Zimirat has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 120,000 som (KGS), with which she will buy lambs, her aim being to increase her livestock-breeding income. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan into developing her farm yet further and to buy her son a vehicle.
