Weyah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more flowers to sell.

Weyah's story

Meet Weyah, who is 50 years old. She is a married mother of four children aged from 12 through to 23 years old. Weyah's husband works in security to earn extra income. Weyah sells flowers. She learned this trade from her aunty. Her husband gave her money to start the business, which she has been in for 13 years now.

Weyah transports her supplies to her business site by car. She has had no problems with her sales. She sells Monday through Saturday. She likes her business because it helps to sustain her family and she is proud of it because it makes her an independent woman.

To improve her business, Weyah asked for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner. She plans to use the loan to buy more flowers to sell to her good clients.

In the future, Weyah wants to build her house and continue her children's education. She says "thank you" to BRAC and the Kiva community.
