Kebeh's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, oil, meat and other ingredients that will be used to prepare cooked food to sell.

Kebeh's story

Kebeh is 44 years old, a single mother with seven children. All of her children are schooling and live at home. Kebeh went to school until third grade. Nine years ago, she started her cooked food business in order to give her children a better quality of life. She learned this trade from her aunty and her brother gave her money to start the business.

She applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, Kiva's field partner. The loan will be used to buy more rice, oil, meat and other ingredients that will be used to prepare cooked food to sell. This will enable her to meet her customers' demand and increase her net income. In the future she wants to increase her business and continue her children's education. Kebeh wishes to say thanks to all lenders around the world.
