Victoria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more rice, charcoal, Vita, bitter balls, red oil, vegetable oil, salt and sugar to sell.

Victoria's story

This is 40-year-old Victoria, a single mother with three children whose ages are 3 through 21 years. They live at home while in school. Victoria is a high school graduate.

She runs a business which sells rice, charcoal, Vita, bitter balls, red oil, vegetable oil, salt and sugar. This is a business she has operated for six years. She learned this trade from her mother. She has no problems with her business. She sells throughout the week. Victoria likes her business because it makes her an independent woman.

To maintain her business, she had asked for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner. The loan will be used to purchase more rice, charcoal, Vita, bitter balls, red oil, vegetable oil, salt and sugar to sell. In the future she wants to become a big businesswoman. She wishes to say thanks.
