Danaya Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy animals for resale in order to eliminate scarcity.

Danaya Group's story

Biba is the woman holding the ram by the horns on the group picture. Biba raises sheep (and fattens them for Tabaski, a Muslim holiday). She is a 42-year old Malian. She is married and the mother of six children, including three attending school. She is not literate in the national language. Her husband is a farmer.
She buys and sells her animals at the local weekly markets.
After sales, her profits may vary between 20 000 and 25 000 CFA francs per head over eight months.
She has been doing this work for eight years. Her revenue enable her to cover her children's healthcare and clothing expenses and to stabilize her family's food security.
She is counting on RMCR's increased financial support in order to buy many animals in order to eliminate scarcity and improve her own and her family's living conditions.
