Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth is 36 years old and a single mother of four children. They live in a community in Honiara, the capital city of the Solomon Islands.

She owns and operates a small general store business selling food basics such as rice, noodles, canned foods and biscuits in her community to earn a living. She has been doing this for six years.

Elizabeth needs a loan to pay for additional bales of rice, canned foods, noodles, biscuits and mixed goods to increase her stock and assist her in running her business.

She hopes to use her profits to meet her family's expenses and improve her business.

She became a member of SPBD in 2014 to gain access to financial services.
